Global scientific community has developed international bird-marking systems in order to reach consensus and homogeneity in their outcomes. Bird banding, colour marks, radio tracking and radar systems are the major tools that ornithologists have to monitor birds movements, in general and migration, in particular. Some of the marked birds fly over our checking points during migration to be controlled and recorded.
